Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The large room with a balcony and stunning bathroom was a highlight, but there were some cleanliness issues with stains on sheets and towels. The service was a bit of a mixed bag, with one helpful staff member standing out, but overall, there were several mistakes made during our dining experiences. The location, while having potential, needed some attention to create a more welcoming atmosphere. The dining had a good variety of options but fell short in execution. Facilities were satisfactory, but not exceptional.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, but unfortunately located above a noisy extractor fan. The loud disco until the early hours disrupted my sleep, and the ambiance didn't quite match the luxurious boutique style I anticipated. The staff was friendly and accommodating, handling challenges professionally. The location was convenient for outdoor activities but had some noise disruptions. The dining experience had its ups and downs, and the hotel facilities were satisfactory with some room for improvement.
The hotel rooms were a mixed experience, with a lovely size and good shower but some noise disturbances from guests above and limited toiletry space. The service was exceptional, especially given the challenges of the past year. However, the location had its drawbacks with parking issues and noise disturbances. The dining experience offered a wide variety but was dependent on the staff member attending to you.
My stay at the hotel was quite lovely with a mix of positives and a few negatives. The rooms, although a bit on the small side, were clean, but the double bed felt small, forcing me to close the curtains and making the room hotter. However, the views were amazing due to the location in Grasmere itself. The service was commendable despite the staff seeming very busy under the current circumstances. The location was beautiful, but some areas need improvement. Dining was hit and miss with some dishes not meeting expectations. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel left much to be desired. The rooms were tiny and felt incredibly claustrophobic, with a terribly uncomfortable bed that had springs poking into our backs all night. The bathroom door was in disrepair, with papers stuffed in the drilled-out lock, and the walls were dirty. The kitchen extractor was noisy, the shower dripped constantly, and overall, the room needed serious updating. However, the location was convenient for exploring the area and the views were nice. The dining experience was subpar with soggy and overdone food choices. The service, although slow at times, had some bright spots like a discount offer. The facilities were lacking a bit and could benefit from maintenance and updates.
